Senior Blend

Assurance offers two Senior Blends with balanced nutrition to keep older horses active and healthy. Both are formulated as a complete feed with the option of introducing either blend early for the horse that is starting to show signs of aging. The Senior Blend Textured option is a blend with added beet pulp (a highly digestible form of fiber) for the extremely “picky” horse. Most of the molasses in this Senior Blend is added with the beet pulp, making it extremely palatable. The Senior Blends can be fed as a total ration without hay or as a complete ration supplemented with some hay. Both forms provide highly digestible sources of fiber and protein, with a concentration of vitamins and minerals necessary for good health and fitness. Soybean oil, added for a concentrated form of energy, also promotes healthy hair and bloom. Senior Blend products are fortified with natural vitamin E, a source of omega 3 fatty acids and chelated minerals.
